Join us to learn the basic principles of animation on easily accessible iPad apps. You will create you own characters and make a short animation during the workshop. Bring your own iPad and you will be provided with the short list of apps to have loaded for the workshop. If you don’t have an iPad, a small number are available to rent. Reserve one when you register.
This is an introductory workshop and all experience levels are welcome.
Enjoy a creative atmosphere to explore or hone your creative writing skills. Open to writers of all levels of experience, the workshop will begin with a brief discussion of craft followed by a period of in-class writing. The remainder of the class will consist of a workshop in which writers receive feedback on their work. Pre-registration is required.

Come workshop new original material with other musicians in a chill, creative environment! Try out new songs, and get feedback from other writers. Hosted by songwriter, John Gardner, this afternoon is open to musicians of all skill levels. We will have an acoustic guitar, an amp, and refreshments in our private courtyard. All we are missing is a campfire! Free!
In this one-hour workshop, kids (and grown-ups) of all ages design and create the sock puppet of their wildest dreams! In a workshop that touches not only puppet-building, but character creation and the artist’s process, Marty will walk you through sketching both the puppet and its back story, and then artists of all ages will build what they’ve imagined with his assistance. Marty will demonstrate basic gluing and application techniques, and then he will answer questions and do demonstrations in real-time to help you execute your ideas. Each workshop concludes with a brief look at puppeteering your masterpiece. All ages (little ones with their grown-ups please). Pre-Registration required. 10 person cap. $25 (includes your very own sock puppet!)
